Improved Efficiency:
Appointment can be color coded to indicate special circumstances or reasons for a visit. Every appointment is stamped with the date, time and user initials indicating who made the appointment. In a hosted environment or for users who can connect remotely to their office computer, the schedule can be referenced and even updated from home or a remote location.
Multiple users can have simultaneous access to the patient appointment system. Appointment times can be easily found when patients forget as well as easily comparing appointments with billable patient encounters. Patient financial history is shown at the time an appointment is made to avoid patients with troubled payment history or to remind them that a payment will be required at the time of visit.
Patient Appointment Scheduling Features:
AppMed has an integrated, customizable charge slip or encounter form that can be printed for each patient prior to their arrival.
A print out of the days appointments complete with telephone numbers and patient specific notes can be printed as a call list to confirm appointments and for the purpose of pulling the next day's charts.
The appointment list can be sent to an automated dialing program which can call each patient to confirm appointments.
