Internet Application Hosting
Using Appmed over the internet is very useful if you have multiple
locations or people who need simultaneous "real-time" access to your information.
The following are examples of environments where internet hosting is useful.
- Multiple physical locations.
- Centralized billing or management functions at an off-site premise.
- IPA serving severl offices.
- You desire 24X7 access to your data from anywhere
All you need is an interent connection and we provide the rest.
- The server where your AppMed program and data will reside.
- All the necessary software licenses. This includes Windows Terminal
Services and Citrix Metaframe client licenses.
- Backup services.
- Assistance setting up the connection to AppMed for each of your computers.
Data Conversion Options
To help you get started as quickly and easily as possible, AppMed
will work with you to provide as complete an ititial data conversion as possible.
- Appmed has developed electronic data conversion options for several medical programs.
- Appmed personnel can manually enter patient data for you prior to delivery.
- At a minimum, our staff will add your office information, provider information,
several insurance companies, diagnoses codes, procedures codes and fees at no
additional charge if you provide us with the information.
Electronic data conversion will not re-assemble all of your old data in AppMed but is meant
to help get you started. Sepcifically, we cannot import financial/treatment history.
Generally we can electronically convert the following:
- Patient demographics information.
- Patient promary insurance information.
- Insurance companies and addresses.
- Referral doctor tables.
Electronic data conversion relies on our ability to extract information from your old data
in a consistent text format and in digital form. We may request the ability to preview your
data prior to committing to an electronic data conversion.
